-In Frankenstein, the monster's request for a woman is accepted for only a short time. Soon Victor gets uneasy with the whole situation, and destroys his work so far on the monster's counterpart. But was this really a good idea? We see as the book goes on that Frankenstein's original creation gets no better, killing even more people. Everyone would have probably been better off if Frankenstein had at least given the monster what he wanted. At the very least, things could not have been any worse. - Clayton
